Welcome to The Pause, Club
Mindfulness that changes how you meet life. A skill that can be learned at any age.
Simple, practical mindfulness for everyday life.
Guided by Becca Mehigan, mindfulness practitioner · MSc Mindfulness-Based Interventions (UCD)
Why mindfulness?
Mindfulness is simply learning to notice what's happening - in your body, your breath and your thoughts - before you react. It's a skill, and like any skill it grows with practice. Children who learn it early get something they can reach for in the yard, the classroom and at home. And when we practise it ourselves, they see what calm looks like.
That's what The Pause, Club is for: small, simple pauses, for every age.

Hi, I'm Becca
Founder of The Pause, Club, mindfulness practitioner and yoga teacher.
For years I struggled with anxiety, overthinking, negative self-talk and poor sleep. Mindfulness and yoga changed how I meet all of that. Alongside an MSc in Mindfulness-Based Interventions from the UCD School of Psychology, these practices helped me create new beliefs, respond to challenges more calmly and find clarity in everyday life.
Becoming a mum changed it again. Chances to slow down got harder to catch, and I realised children don't do what we say - they copy what we do. So the practice works two ways for me: making space for myself, so I can show my son what calm looks like.
I started The Pause, Club to share these practices - with children in after-school clubs, and with grown-ups who want a few minutes of calm in their own day.
Whether you're brand new to this or coming back to it, I'd be honoured to have you join me.
